Vol 1, Issue 16, November 3, 2004
Ah, it's nice to be back! But after two weeks off, I have a
lot to catch up. Let's see what I can fit into this one issue...
I do not guarantee any markets
New Markets:
Transita Ltd., a sister company to How To Books,
will publish contemporary fiction for women 45 years of age and
older. Editorial Director Nikki Read says these novels will be
about women who "are evolving, independent spirits with the
confidence to accept imperfection, embrace contradictions, and
explore the truths and desires that propel their lives." The
website (CLICK HERE)
is currently under development, but more information can be found

readers & writers focusses on "marginalized genre
fiction, particularly science fiction, horror, westerns,

Author's Note
Well, I'm caught up on most of it now, I think. I'll get the
rest in next week or the week after -- they tend towards slower
times. I'd like to thank the people who have so nicely written to
me about how useful this column is. I do appreciate it. And yes,
Womblin, Koko appreciates it, too. :) Thanks, also, to everyone
who participated in my poll. If anyone would like to e-mail me,
you can reach me HERE.
There is also a forum on the Z7 forum, under Open Discussion
&... called BJ's Word in Writing (thanks Zen!). Feel
free to post any discussion of markets there.
