Irish Fantasy Quarterly is a new online magazine publishing "the best in short Epic, Adventure and Heroic fantasy fiction stories from new and established writers". CLICK HERE
Arrow Publications is looking for scripts for romance graphic novels. "Generally, we are looking for romantic, passionate character-driven stories with a strong element of adventure and/or suspense." Read the guidelines at CLICK HERE very carefully. NOTE: Arrow will pay writers and give them credit, but will then own ALL rights to the work.
KeepItComing.net offers serialized e-books to hurried and harried readers. They are looking for story ideas: "Our stories are serial stories..Think of soap operas, with no end in sight. Story ideas should be based on this with strong subplots and a variety of characters and events." CLICK HERE

Augusto Roa Bastos ( June 13, 1917 - April 26, 2005). Roa Bastos, a voluntary exile from his native Paraguay for over 40 years, wrote many literary works, often decrying power as "a tremendous stigma, a kind of human egoism that seeks to control the personalities of others". CLICK HERE

George P. Cosmatos (1941 - April 19, 2005). Cosmatos directed such films as Of Unknown Origin and Leviathan.
Josef Nesvadba (June 19, 1926 - April 25, 2005) Known as the king of Czech science fiction, Nesvadba wrote several stories and longer works, such as Captain Nemos Last Adventure, In the Footsteps of the Abominable Snowman, and Vampires. CLICK HERE
