Chronicle magazine will now publish one fiction short story per month. "Since we offer the best rate of any print magazine [10 cents per word] we want to see the best of the best in the Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror genres." Kensington Publishing will no longer be publishing Regency romances as part of their Zebra line, beginning in October 2005. They will be launching a new humorous erotica line in January of 2006.

Evan Hunter (1926 - July 6, 2005) Under the pen name of Ed McBain, Hunter was a prolific writer, most famous as the inventor of the 'police procedural' novel, with his famous 87th Precinct series. He also wrote science fiction as himself, Richard Marsten and Hunt Collins. CLICK HERE
